Christmas

Once there was a pair of sisters, Anna and Emily. They were orphans and their house was in the middle of the forest. Their food and drink was brought every night by a strange creature. They knew that it was he who always brought treats because he knocked three times on the door, but by the time the children opened it, no one was there.

On a cold winter night, the children decided to find this mysterious well-wisher, so they waited and waited, but no one came, they almost fell asleep when they saw the light. This light didn't last long before it disappeared. There was a knock on the door and the children were ready to quickly open the door. When it was open, they saw a man in red, with a white beard and a bag on his back running towards the trees. The children shouted after him and the nice man came back.

The children asked who he was and if he had helped them over the years. The nice man said he was Santa, and he helped them because he helped the poor. The children had only one question: why was he here now? Santa Claus said that today was Christmas Eve, and everyone should get a present.

The children made cookies for Santa and thanked him for always looking after them. When they went to bed with a toy that Santa had brought to look at the stars, they fell asleep in the house.
