Dragons’ Land (Part 1)

Hello. This is the place where I live, it’s called Dragno, where in the present, the elves live. It’s the biggest city in a dream country. Now you are thinking: why? The problem is that no one knows. The only thing what we know is that this town was once populated by dragons. The elves believe that the dragons never existed. Oh, I forgot to say, my name is John, and I am a loser. I look strange, I have a tail, and there is something one my back and head, but no one wants to say what that is.

The journey starts only now. I started to breathe fire when I spoke, and my voice changed so much, that now it’s about impossible for an elf to have this voice. The small thing on my head is no more a thing, it’s a horn, like the horn of a dragon from the fantasy books, when the knight saved the princess from a dragon. On my back grow two big wings, and if I jump from a smaller height, I glide, and I am also able to swing my wings. Now, when I play with my nails, they grow four centimetres, for about one hour, and after that they retreat.

Today was the first day in the 5th grade in the school. In the morning, I woke up and I grew 20 centimetres. In the school, I constantly grew. In the evening, I was the tallest one in the entire school.

In the next week, I was kicked out from the school, and there was no school for me to go to, because I was too scary. When I went home, I couldn`t go inside the house, because I did not fit in the door. So, I was going to a market, and I bought some food for an entire week. Then I went to a cave and built a shelter for the night to sleep. On the next day I went home to my parents, to tell them what had happened to me, and I also to charged my phone. From then on, the next couple of years, I lived in the forest next to the city.

In the next year, John found a female dragon and they started a new colony. In this colony, all the dragons have a special ability to retreat the dragon parts and look like an elf. All the dragons found a job, usually a job they were good at, so that they had money for food, because they didn’t want to eat animals. John wanted to be a military man.
