Zoe woke up in an empty alley. She didn’t recognize the place where she was, so she decided to go outside and explore. She was surprised to see that there was a small village with some kind of humans with powers, but most of them had horns, wings, ears and tails. The houses where the people lived looked more like cottages, but a bit bigger.
She was so impressed about what she found there that she forgot about all her problems until she realized that she wasn’t one of them, and they could kill her thinking that she wanted to attack them. A second later Zoe thought that maybe they would think that she was one of the normal humans with powers, and they would let her explore peacefully.
Zoe picked up her book and stepped outside. She felt like a new person in a new world until she bumped into someone.
“I-I’m so sorry, let me help you!” said Zoe.
“No problem!” answered the voice.
“Anyways, are you new here?” asked the person.
“Yes!” answered Zoe.
“Oh, that’s nice! By the way, my name is Olivia.”
“I’m Zoe.”
Both girls looked at each other long.
“Do you want me to give you a tour?” asked Olivia.
“Sure!” answered Zoe.
“Ok, let’s go!” said Olivia.
“And what kind of species are you coming from?” asked Zoe.
“Well, I’m a fire fox, and my superpowers are mind reading, teleporting, and I can also set things on fire,” answered Olivia.
Zoe started panicking after she heard that Olivia could read minds and if she used her power she would know that Zoe wasn’t one of them.
“And what about you, what are your superpowers?” asked Oliva.
Zoe didn’t know what to say, but she realized that she could pretend that she was a dragon.
“Well, I’m a dragon…” answered Zoe
“Wow, does that mean that you have all the powers from this dimension?” asked Olivia. “Uhm… Yup!” answered Zoe.
Zoe was about to have a heart attack. She was so stupid to say that she was something so rare.
“Zoe, I just want to tell you: welcome to our village!” said Olivia.
